What it will take to reach water and sanitation MDGs

Expanding water and sanitation coverage is not rocket science. It requires neither colossal sums of money nor breakthrough scientific discoveries and dramatic technological advances. Although reaching the water and sanitation target will by no means be easy, particularly in the very poorest parts of the world, and the sanitation challenge is indeed daunting, achieving Target 10 is possible.
