First Danish Iraq reconstruction contract goes to COWI

COWI has been awarded a DKK 13 million contract by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a transport study in the Umm Qasr-Baghdad corridor in Iraq, Development Today has learned. COWI won this contract in competition with NIRAS. The tender process for this contract started last year and was therefore not subject to the new Danish untied procurement rules. Negotiations were completed in mid-April.
