A golden opportunity

World Bank management is finally in the process of closing down the donors’ tied consultant trust funds (CTFs) in the Bank. This should have been done a long time ago. The Bank should have said no thank you to funds with so many strings attached. Instead, it was tempted by the donors’ money and their good intentions.
