Little need for donors in African resource management

There is a widespread conviction among donors about the need to manage renewable natural resources, such as soils, pastures, fish and forests, in the South. Eyolf Jul-Larsen has studied the evolution over the past half century of freshwater fisheries in Southern Africa. He questions the need for so much aid.
