Foreign-owned consultancies eat into Sida procurement pie

One year has passed since Sweden’s new aid procurement policy came into affect. Though all contracts worth more than SEK 2 million are now put on international tender, most contracts continue to be awarded to firms based in Sweden. For a number of firms with foreign ownership, it has paid off to have subsidiary offices in Sweden.
