Karin Roxman, who has been responsible for handling Iraq at the Swedish Foreign Ministry, takes up her new position as Swedish Ambassador to Iraq on September 1. She will be based at the Swedish Embassy in Amman until a Swedish Embassy in Baghdad can be opened.
