In early June, five of Médicins Sans Frontières Holland’s staff in Afghanistan were killed. A Taliban spokesperson claimed responsibility and accused MSF of spying for the United States. MSF is now considering withdrawing from Afghanistan after 24 years of humanitarian work in the country.
