Finland plans to provide support for a renewable energy strategy for Laos, and possibly also Cambodia. The project, which will focus on a range of “soft" energy options is expected to be tendered towards the end of this year.
In the first half of this year, the Danish consultancy firm COWI has been awarded four separate contracts by Danida worth a total of about DKK 40 million. Three of these are in the business support sector in Tanzania, where the Danish government is investing heavily this year.
