Sida aims for business fund to benefit Swedish green firms

Sida is working on setting up a private sector development fund that would benefit Swedish firms working in the area of environmental technology. If the fund functions well, it could be expanded and include other companies with other types of expertise.

SN Power to decide on Karuma investment soon

The Norwegian hydropower investor SN Power has informed NORPAK, which holds the right to develop the 100-200 megawatt Karuma hydropower project in Uganda that it will decide on its participation in the project within a week or two. Development Today has learned that SN Power has finalised its due diligence of the project and is ready to make a decision.
