The Asian Development Bank (ADB) should consider relocating from Manila if efforts to improve the legal environment for prosecution of corruption do not improve, a Norwegian report on the development banks’ anti-corruption efforts recommends.

Nordic firms make record sales to UN. Dismal results for Sweden

 
Danish, Finnish and Norwegian companies experienced an upswing in sales to the UN System last year, recent IAPSO figures show. Firms in the Nordic Block are now No. 5 on the list of the UN’s top suppliers. In a record year for Nordic sales, only Swedish firms actually sold less to the UN System in 2005 than the previous year.

Mixed results for Danish NGO fundraising

 
For the first time, three Danish NGOs - Save the Children, Care and Ibis - have canvassed door-to-door to collect funds from the public for their aid work overseas. Save out-collected the two other NGOs nine to one.
