Global AIDS Fund wants more Norwegian money

The Global Fund’s Executive Director Richard Feachem has asked Norway to double its support to the Fund this year and treble it by 2006.

Norway is reluctant to increase its grant due to reports of high monitoring costs and examples of the Fund building parallel structures. Feachem rejects this criticism in an interview with Development Today, claiming the problems have been fixed.
